MWUSC Lightning U-11 boys team earn Ice Breaker tourney first place honors

The MWUSC Lightning U-11 boys team captured first place at the recent RVSC Ice Breaker Tournament at the Milton Dome in Poughkeepsie, where the players consisted mostly of academy/select teams from Westchester County and New Jersey in the U-11 division. The offense was led by goal scorers Marcin Kluz, Ryan Dove and Lucas Ortiz. Lightning received strong defense from Sean Gilligan, Gio DeGiglio, Tyler Landusky and goalkeeper Jack Kehnle. Key contributions for offense and defense were provided by Marco Wasto, Thomas Milem, Lucas Beers and Pravin Jagen. This is the fifth consecutive first-place finish in tournament play for Lightning.
