Hurricanes Purple win the Shamrock Cup

The GU10 Hurricanes Purple won the 2018 Shamrock Cup 2-1 after a five-round shoot-out at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome on March 17. With the game tied 0-0 at the end of regulation, the game went to a shoot-out. Tied 1-1 after Julia Lopez made her attempt in the first round, Tea Proia made four consecutive saves while Fallon Durkin scored the decisive goal to secure the first-place finish. Pictured in front, from left to right, the GU10 Hurricanes are: Deanna Murphy, Lia Taber, Chloe Griffin, Tea Proia and Julia Lopez; and in back: Fallon Durkin, Anna Llewellyn, Elizabeth Sorce, Claire Morris and Gianna Pacciarelli. Kaylen Baricevic also is a member of the GU10 Hurricanes.
