Who doesn’t love a parade?

Here’s a list of area Memorial Day parades this weekend, part of the many area remembrances to honor the men and women who died while serving in the nation’s armed forces.

Area parades traditionally include participation by veterans and active duty personnel, including those who are members of area American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars organizations and related groups.

Participants also include elected officials, police, fire and EMS personnel in addition to Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, select school/youth groups and musicians, among others.
