Raymundo Guia of Elmhurst passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 92 years old.

The son of Nicomedes and Criselda Guia, he was born March 15, 1926 in Anilao, Mabini, Batangas, Philippines.

Raymundo was a retired banker with Habib Bank in Manhattan.

Survivors include his loving wife Remedios Guia; his son Howard Guia of Highland Mills; his daughters Glynda Johnson of Monroe, Norma Guia and Maria Criselda Guia-Coronel, both of Elmhurst; and his four grandchildren: Cali, Nicholas, Chelsey and Brandon.

Visitation was held June 1 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Monroe. A Chapel Service was also held, officiated by Deacon Eugene Bormann.

Interment will take place in the family plot in Philippines.
