On Wednesday, Nov. 14, Monroe Free Library will host a discussion of the book "A Piece of the World" by Christina Baker Kline. In 1948, American painter Andrew Wyeth witnessed Anna Christina Olson, a friend and neighbor, crawling across a field. The resulting painting, "Christina's World," became one of the most iconic works of art of the 20th century. Kline's novel explores the life of the women behind the portrait.
